Inaugural ceremony of the Club and Official launching of College Newspaper

The activities of literary club for this year started with the grand inaugural ceremony conducted on 20th October 2020 via Google meet at 5 PM. Mr. Josekutty Panackal, Chief Photographer, Malayala Manorama and Limca Record holder was the chief guest of the day . He talked about the importance of literature and its association with daily life . College newspaper titled Voice of Youth was officially launched on the day .There was a powerpoint presentation introducing the club members and editorial team of the newspaper. Manager Sri George Kuriakose, Principal Dr Geetha C A and Dean Prof. Daisy N O addressed the audience. Active participation of the students and faculty members made the event a resounding success.

The 113th Birthday celebration of Vaikom Muhammed Basheer

The 113th birthday of the famous Malayalam writer Vaikom Muhammed Basheer was celebrated on 21st January 2021 via Google meet at 8:30pm . Principal Dr Geetha C A, Dean Prof. Daisy N O and Dr. George Joseph, Malayalam professor felicitated the function.
Review of the famous novels including The Walls written by Basheer was the highlight of the programme.

Tribute to Sugathakumari Teacher

Paying tribute to the eminent poet and activist Smt. Sugathakumari, the Literary club conducted a video presentation on 28th December 2020 via Google meet at 3 pm. The video included a short biographical description of Sugathakumari teacher, her rare pictures and recitation of two of her famous poems . The effort was much appreciated by all the faculty members.
