Bachelor of Social Work (Honours) is a four year under graduate program in Social Work. This program provides a comprehensive and in-depth theoretical and practical understanding of social work profession.
BSW (Hons) is a four year (Eight Semester) curriculum, with an option to exit in the third year with BSW degree. This profession stands to promote social justice, equality and overall wellbeing of the individual, family, groups and communities. Social Workers are inevitable components in addressing any social issues.
The program focuses on the holistic development of students and facilitates their growth as an empathetic and socially responsible Social Worker.

Eligibility
The eligibility criteria for applying for Bachelor of Social Work are:
Candidates who have passed (Eligible for Higher Studies) the HSE of the Kerala State Board of Higher Secondary Examination or any other examination recognized as equivalent.
Course Design
The UG programme in Social Work is a four year academic curriculum with eight semesters upon which each semester comprises of 90 days with 75 hours on each paper. Each semester includes observation visits, field work, interactive lectures, e – learning, library works, internal test, assignments, presentations, classroom discussions, role play and case analysis.
