MSc Psychology

Master of Psychology is a two-year four-semester post graduate programme. The elective stream offered in our college is Clinical Psychology. The M.Sc. Psychology programme provides a comprehensive and in depth theoretical and practical understanding of psychology. Students who undergoes this programme is expected to acquire professional competency in the field of psychology. This programme prepare students for employment or to be a competitive applicant for doctoral programs.

The programme M.Sc. Psychology includes Core courses, Elective courses, Psychological assessments, Activity based assignments, Seminar, Dissertation, internships and Case Study. No course shall carry more than four credits and evaluation is done based on the grade point average. This programme focuses on enabling learners to carryout qualitative and quantitative research and pursue academic or professional careers.

Eligibility

The eligibility criteria for applying for M.Sc. Psychology are:

    • Candidates must have completed Graduation in Psychology or Rehabilitation Science with not less than 50% aggregate marks (CGPA 2 out of 4, CCPA 5 out of 10).
