Dr. Mathews Mar Severios
His Grace was ordained as Bishop in 1993 and is currently serving as Metropolitan of Kandanad West and Idukki Diocese. He is teaching at Orthodox Theological Seminary, Kottayam since 1984. He is also Secretary to the Holy Episcopal Synod.
He has organised several charitable projects. Mar Pachomios Charitable Society formed in the memory of his predecessor runs charitable projects namely Pratheeksha Bhavan, Prasanthi Bhavan, Prathyasa Bhavan, Prasadam Centre, Pramodam Project, Prasannam Bhavan, Prakasam Institute of Special Education and Prathibha Products.
