Nirmala Arts & Science College is located in Mulanthuruthy, a south-eastern suburb of the city of Cochin, in Kerala, India. This center for higher education offers undergraduate and post graduate programmes in Arts, Science, and Commerce. The college is affiliated to Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam and is a constituent of Nirmala Charitable Trust.

Nirmala Charitable trust was founded in 1956 by late O.C. Kuriakose Cor-Episcopa, a great visionary and philanthropist who towered over his generation. He saw education as a tool in aiding the transformation of the lives of people and the world around them. His Vision of a hierarchical system of education was actualized through the establishment of various institutions ranking from the pre-primary to university level of education.
