National Service Scheme Unit No 113 in association with Environment Conservation Cell of Nirmala Arts and Science College, Mulanthuruthy celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2024, Wednesday. The cell took initiative in planting agricultural crops in the college premises. Welcome address was delivered by Ms. Reshma R Nair, NSS Programme officer and the ceremony was inaugurated by Manager Sri George Kuriakose. Principal Dr. Geetha C A, Dean Prof. Daisy N O addressed the gathering. The students and staff members actively participated in the programme and saplings were planted by Manager Sri George Kuriakose in the college premises. The program was concluded by a vote of thanks delivered by Gopika Dileep, NSS Volunteer. There after NSS Unit 113 also celebrated Environment day at our adopted school- Junior Basic School Kanayannoor by distributing saplings to the principal Sri Mohanan.
