The postgraduate department of psychology in association with NSS unit no: 113 conducted an awareness talk on the same on World AIDS day 2023. The programme was graced by the  principal Dr. C A Geetha, Dean ,Prof Daisy N O , Mr. Deepu (Assistant professor of English department) ,Mr Desmond ( Head of Physical Education) , Key speaker Ms Feba Johnson ( Assistant Professor of postgraduate department of psychology) and teachers of other departments. 30 students attended the session.The 2023 theme was “ Let communities lead “. The session was very informative and decoded a lot of rumours and myths revolving the disease. Students were made aware about various health policies, helpline numbers , symptoms , treatment and care system and precautions that need to be looked into about AID’s in a detailed yet simple manner. The students made Charts and ribbon badges to commemorate the day .
