As part of the Association Day programme Zytrex 2025, the Department of Computer Applications and CASIN organized a Word Hunt Competition on 12 December 2025 at the New Auditorium. The competition aimed to enhance students’ awareness of commonly used computer terminology in an engaging and interactive manner. Students from various departments actively participated in the event. Each team consisted of two members, where one participant demonstrated or acted out a computer-related word, and the other team member identified the correct term. The words used in the competition were related to general computer terms commonly used in everyday digital interactions. The Word Hunt Competition successfully achieved multiple outcomes. Participants enhanced their technical vocabulary by improving their knowledge and understanding of basic computer terminology. The interactive format encouraged experiential and participatory learning, while team-based participation helped students develop coordination, collaboration, and communication skills. The demonstration and interpretation of terms also strengthened both verbal and non-verbal communication abilities. Additionally, participation from students across various departments promoted interdepartmental interaction, fostering social engagement and collaborative learning.
