“On December 16, 2024, the Postgraduate Department of Psychology, in collaboration with the Counselling Cell and Women’s Cell, organized an awareness talk on Mindfulness in Marriage for the entire college community. The program commenced at 1 PM in the New Auditorium with an introductory address by the Principal, Dr. C. A. Geetha, setting the stage for an insightful session. The talk was led by the distinguished speaker, Mrs. Darly Donald, a family court counsellor and trainer. Mrs. Darly Donald provided valuable insights into the significance of mindfulness in resolving marital conflicts and preparing for married life. Drawing from her professional experience, she shared real-life examples of family challenges, offering practical strategies to navigate and strengthen relationships. The program was highly impactful, fostering awareness and encouraging the use of mindfulness techniques to build harmonious relationships. Students left the session with a deeper understanding of how to nurture healthy and meaningful partnerships.
