The Department of Computer Applications in association with Career Guidance and Placement cell organized a Preplacement training program on July 29, 2025,  for 2023–26 BCA batch students(3rd year).The program began with a formal welcome address by Mrs. Neethu S(Asst Proffesor Dept of Management Studies & Coordinator Career Guidance and placement). She extended a warm welcome to the resource person and the participants, emphasizing the importance of professional development in today’s competitive job market.

The session was led by Mrs. Binu Bahuleyan, Assistant Centre Manager and Career Counsellor at the Career Development Centre, Tripunithura. With extensive experience in guiding students towards successful career paths, Mrs. Binu delivered a highly engaging and informative talk. She focused on the significance of interview etiquette and the role of non-verbal communication during interviews. Her session covered various key aspects such as first impressions, body language, appropriate dress code, eye contact, tone of voice, and the do’s and don’ts of interview behavior. Through relatable examples and practical tips, she helped students understand how their presence and demeanor can influence an interviewer’s perception even before a word is spoken.

Following the interactive session, a mock interview panel was set up to give students real-time interview experience. The panel comprised Mrs. Binu Bahuleyan, along with Ms. Amrutha S. and Mrs. Neethu S., faculty members of Nirmala Arts and Science College, Mulanthuruthy. Each student was called individually for a one-on-one interview. The interviews were designed to simulate real-world scenarios and allowed students to apply the skills and knowledge gained during the session. After each interview, personalized feedback was provided to help students identify their strengths and areas of improvement
