The Department of Computer Applications at Nirmala Arts and Science College, Mulanthuruthy organized a seminar for second-year BCA students on June 11, 2025. The session took place in the second-year BCA classroom and was coordinated by Mr. Eldho Peter, Head of the Department of Computer Applications. Mr. Eldho Peter welcomed the resource person, Mrs. Vimi Joseph, Head of the Department of Psychology, Nirmala Arts and Science College, Mulanthuruthy. Mrs. Vimi Joseph led the seminar, which focused on the importance of maintaining a healthy mind to enhance academic focus and support students in setting clear career goals. The seminar also addressed pressing social issues, particularly the rising levels of depression among students. As part of the session, a questionnaire was distributed to assess the mental strength of the participants. Additionally, valuable tips and strategies were shared to help students maintain strong mental health and overall well-being. The session was highly engaging and well-received by the students, offering practical insights and support that they found both interesting and beneficial.
