The Department of Computer Applications organized a Mini Project Orientation Session in collaboration with GENTRIUS IT SOLUTIONS, Kochi, for second-year students on January 22, 2025. The session was held in the department’s classroom. The session commenced with a warm welcome by the Head of Department, Mr. Eldho Peter, who introduced the resource person, Mrs. Aswathy Ashok. Mrs. Aswathy provided the students with valuable insights into how to approach their Mini Project work for the upcoming academic semester. She discussed relevant project topics, trending programming technologies, and the skills that real-world companies expect from students. Throughout the session, Mrs. Aswathy shared a range of project ideas and explained how to create clear and concise project abstracts. She also addressed various questions from students, offering guidance on how to complete their projects on time while utilizing modern technologies. The students actively participated by presenting their thoughts and doubts, and they left the session with a better understanding of how to choose appropriate topics and incorporate the latest advancements in technology into their projects. The orientation session was well-received, providing students with a clear roadmap on how to approach their mini projects, implement cutting-edge technologies, and select topics aligned with current industry trends and innovations.
