The Staff Club of the college celebrated Onam with great enthusiasm on 29th August 2025 at 10.30 am in the Seminar Hall. The programme began with a warm welcome speech by Ms. Ashitha Ashok C, President, Department of Management Studies, who greeted the gathering and highlighted the significance of Onam as a festival of unity and joy. As part of the celebration, memories of Onam were shared by College Manager Shri. George Kuriakose, Principal Prof. Dr. Mini K D, Dean Prof. Daisy N. Faculty members Ms. Ashamol M. K (HoD, Management Studies), and Mr. Deepu G (HoD, English Department). Their reflections added warmth to the occasion by recalling traditional celebrations and values associated with Onam. The programme also featured cultural events and games, which included Musical Chair, Sundarikku Pottukuthu, a fusion dance, Onappattu, and Kaikotti Kali, performed by staff members, bringing alive the festive spirit. The vibrant cultural programmes created an atmosphere of togetherness and joy, making the event memorable for everyone present. The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Ms. Abigail Ann Clement, Assistant Professor, Department of Commerce, who expressed gratitude to the staff club, participants, and audience for making the celebration a grand success.
