The Department of Management Studies successfully organized an Open Mic session titled “Healing Through Music” on 23rd June 2025, exclusively for the BBA students. The event was conducted in the Seminar Hall and saw active participation from 35 students. The primary objective of the session was to create a safe and welcoming space where students could express their emotions and creativity through music, poetry, and spoken word performances. The initiative aimed at promoting mental well-being and emotional healing by using music and self-expression as tools for stress relief and personal growth. Throughout the session, students came forward to sing, play instruments, recite poetry, and share personal stories, each performance resonating deeply with the audience. The event created an atmosphere of warmth, understanding, and mutual support, allowing participants and spectators alike to connect on an emotional level. It was not only an opportunity for students to showcase their hidden talents but also served as a reminder of the therapeutic power of art and expression in managing academic pressure and personal challenges. The program was meticulously planned and coordinated by Mrs. Ashitha Ashok C and Miss Ashly Jose, Assistant Professors in the Department of Management Studies. Their guidance and encouragement played a vital role in the success of the event. Feedback from the students was overwhelmingly positive, with many expressing their desire for more such events in the future. Overall, “Healing Through Music” was a memorable and impactful experience that contributed significantly to the holistic development of the students, blending creativity with emotional wellness in a meaningful way.
