The Post Graduate Department of Psychology, Nirmala Arts and Science College, Mulanthuruthy had observed the international day for older persons by making a visit to Poornathrayeesha old age home, Puthiyakaavu, Tripunithura on 3^rd October 2023. Both the MSc classes and the third year BSc students were the ones who visited the old age home along with teachers, Ms. Nalina Biju and Ms. Anupama R Varier, department of psychology. Both students and teachers made a huge contribution of groceries and other stationaries to the old age home. Also, the students engaged the inmates by singing songs and dance too, apart from interaction with them. Those smiles in their faces said that they enjoyed the student’s presence. Students could learn so much from them.
