The Post Graduate Department of Social Work organised an observation visit to Youth Initiative, Kathmandu at Nepal on 7th September 2025 at 11.00AM. The organisation is a Kathmandu based organisation in Nepal that engages in various social and youth empowerment activities including intergenerational dialogues, social campaigns and training programs for youth. The students interact with the general secretary Mr. Yogesh Kaphle and attended a presentation about the agency structure and functioning. The presentation includes the vision, mission, history, and has given detailed description about various projects operating in the organisation. The agency members interacted with students and explained the priority working areas of the agency, intervention approaches, organogram of the institution and managing the resources including the funding. As a gesture of goodwill the Youth Initiative gifted a memento to the department as a symbol of future collaborations.
