During the National Agency Visit to various agencies at Kathmandu, Nepal the department organised an observation visit to Tukee Foundation, Kathmandu, Nepal for the second year MSW students on  8th September 2025 at 10.00AM. Tukee Foundation, established in 2019 in Kathmandu, Nepal, is a non-governmental non profit organisation founded in response to the aftermath of the 2015 earthquake, which revealed the acute vulnerabilities of marginalised populations, particularly single mothers, children and people with disabilities. Students understood about the projects and programmes by the agency through interacting with Ms. Sheela Sen, Executive Director and they observed the foundation’s facilities and structure through the visit. They participated in discussions about community engagement  and participatory decision making processes.
