The Post Graduate Department of Social Work conducted a National Agency Visit to various agencies at Kathmandu, Nepal for the second year MSW students from 3rd September 2025 to 16th September 2025. Students started their journey on 3rd September 2025 from Ernakulam and reached Kathmandu by 6th September 2025. After 2 days of visit to various agencies namely Kathambari Memorial College, Youth Initiative, Tukee Foundation and CWISH the team were locked down by unexpected internal conflict in the region which forced them to shelter in place. Even though the team spent quality of time in Kathmandu through community interaction and local community visits. The team realised that these were their real learning experiences. The team, consisting of 10 students and 2 teachers returned from Kathmandu on 11th September 2025 and spent a whole day at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. On 16th September 2025 the team returned back to the college.
