The Department of Computer Applications organized a Five-Day Workshop on “AI for Data Analysis and Decision Making” in the BCA Lab. The workshop was designed to equip students with practical knowledge and hands-on experience in applying Artificial Intelligence techniques for data analysis and informed decision-making. The sessions were conducted by Mr. Arjun S and Mr. Aswin R Sudhakar, Senior AI Engineers from Link Group, Ernakulam. The resource persons introduced participants to the fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence and its applications in data analytics. The workshop covered key topics such as data collection, data preprocessing, exploratory data analysis, predictive analytics, machine learning concepts, data visualization, and AI-driven decision-making techniques. Throughout the five days, participants engaged in practical exercises, case studies, and hands-on activities using AI and data analytics tools. The resource persons demonstrated how AI can be leveraged to identify patterns, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making in various domains such as business, healthcare, education, and finance. The workshop also highlighted current industry trends and career opportunities in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science. A total of 50 students actively participated in the programme. The interactive sessions enabled participants to develop analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and technical skills essential for modern data-driven environments.
