The Post Graduate Department of Commerce, Nirmala Arts and Science College, Mulanthuruthy conducted an expert talk on “An overview of Income Tax: Benefits & Implication” on 28th July 2024 at 2:00 PM. The session began with the formal welcome speech delivered by, Ms. Abigail Ann Clements Asst. Prof. PG Department of Commerce.
Mr. Bitto Paul, Head of P G Department of Commerce felicitated the gathering and shared some valuable thoughts regarding the need of Income Tax Day celebration. The session was handled by Mr. Stebin Saji, Chartered Accountant, SSRM Associates. He addressed the gathering covering a wide range of topics such as Basics and need of taxation, tax planning and significance of collecting tax from common people etc. The session was really engaging and interacting. The session concluded by a vote of thanks by Ms. Reshma R Nair, Assistant Professor, PG Dept of Commerce.
