The Department of Computer Applications, in association with the Environment and Conservation Cell of Nirmala Arts and Science College, organized an environmental visit to Wagamon on 22nd August 2025 for the FYUGP 2024–28 batch as part of their curriculum. The primary aim of the environmental visit to Wagamon was to provide students with firsthand exposure to the natural ecosystem and biodiversity of the region. The visit sought to create awareness about environmental conservation and sustainable practices while helping students understand the significance of preserving natural resources and maintaining ecological balance. It also aimed to integrate classroom learning with real-world experiences, encouraging students to develop a sense of responsibility towards protecting the environment. Furthermore, the visit highlighted the role of eco-tourism in promoting both environmental conservation and community development. The environmental visit to Wagamon proved to be a highly enriching experience for the BCA students. It enabled them to closely observe the rich biodiversity, scenic landscapes, and sustainable practices of the region. The students gained practical insights into the importance of conserving natural resources and maintaining ecological balance, complementing their theoretical learning. The trip also fostered environmental awareness, teamwork, and social responsibility among the students. Additionally, the exposure to eco-tourism initiatives helped them understand the link between environmental conservation and community development. Overall, the visit enhanced their knowledge, inspired responsible behavior towards nature, and provided a holistic learning experience beyond the classroom.
