On 29th July 2025 Department of Languages organised World Emoji Day in the Department of English at 12.40 pm. The programme mainly aimed to inculcate story writing aptitude among students and spread the awareness about emojis. Emojis are widely using for messaging. The programme began with an introduction by Mr. Deepu G, HoD, Department of languages about emojis and its role in language in present time. The participants are instructed to make the stories and write it with emojis. The participants are excited and actively involved in the competition.
