An Emoji Design Competition was organized on 17th July 2025 at the Conference Hall by the Department of Management Studies exclusively for BBA students. The event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of 12 students, who showcased their creativity and design skills by crafting unique and expressive emojis. The main objective of the competition was to encourage innovation, visual communication, and out-of-the-box thinking among the students, while also fostering their understanding of branding, consumer psychology, and digital trends—skills that are essential in the field of business and management. Participants were given the freedom to choose themes such as emotions, social issues, workplace expressions, and pop culture, allowing them to creatively connect with real-world scenarios. The competition not only tested their design abilities but also their understanding of target audience preferences and marketing appeal. Students used both digital tools and hand-drawn techniques to bring their ideas to life, demonstrating a blend of creativity and strategic thinking. The event was coordinated efficiently by Miss Ashly Jose, Assistant Professor, who guided the students throughout the process and ensured a smooth and engaging experience. A panel of judges evaluated the entries based on originality, relevance, visual impact, and message clarity. The competition served as an enriching experience for BBA students, helping them appreciate the role of creative thinking in business communication and product development. The session concluded with positive feedback and plans for more such innovative activities in the future to nurture the managerial and creative competencies of the students.
