
Department of Management Studies conducted a debate on the topic “The Impact of AI on the Future of Management Learning and Academic Research” was conducted on 12th June 2025 at the Seminar Hall. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 35 students, who actively engaged in exploring the profound implications of Artificial Intelligence in the academic and managerial landscape. The session was moderated by Mrs. Ashamol M K, HoD and Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, who effectively guided the debate, ensuring a balanced and insightful discussion. Participants deliberated on various aspects, including the integration of AI in teaching methodologies, data-driven decision-making, ethical concerns, and the evolving role of academic research in an AI-driven world. The event was meticulously coordinated by Mrs. Ashitha Ashok C and Miss Ashly Jose, Assistant Professors in the department, whose efforts ensured the smooth execution of the program. The debate provided a valuable platform for students to critically analyse current trends and anticipate future challenges and opportunities posed by AI in the realm of management education and research.
