The Post Graduate Department of Social Work at Nirmala Arts and Science College, Mulanthuruthy organized the Association Inauguration on August 1, 2025. The official inauguration marked the naming of the Association- NIPAS – Nirmala Initiative for Professional Advancement of Social Work. A total number of 23 students from UG and PG courses of the Post Graduate Department of Social Work attended the inauguration and faculties from various other departments also made their presence during the event. The inauguration started with a formal welcome speech by Mr. Lalu P Joy, Head of the Post Graduate Department of Social Work and Principal address by Prof. Dr. Mini K.D, Principal of Nirmala Arts and Science College, Mulanthuruthy. Sri George Kuriakose, Manager of the institution gave the presidential address, followed by felicitation by Prof. Daisy N.O, Dr. Shaly M.O, Ms. Lathika Anil, Ms. Vimi Joseph, Ms. Parvathy C.R. The Association was officially inaugurated by lighting the lamp and planting a sapling in the college premises.
