Nirmala Arts and Science College, in association with ASAP Kerala, conducted Phase 3 of the CIRCLE Campaign, a student-led digital skill initiative, on 19th December 2026 at 10.00 a.m. in the Seminar Hall. The session, titled “The Art of Presentation – How to Make a Powerful PPT & Present It Well,” was organized with the objective of strengthening students’ presentation and communication skills, which are essential for academic excellence and future career readiness. First-year student representatives from all departments actively participated in the programme. The session was led by Ms. Amritha Pillai, I Year B.Sc. Psychology student, who was selected as the Skill Champion of the college. After attending an online training session conducted by ASAP Kerala, she effectively transferred the acquired knowledge to student mentors representing each department. The session covered the complete process of preparing an effective presentation, including planning the structure, designing slides, organizing content, and finalizing the presentation using MS PowerPoint. Special emphasis was given to clarity of ideas, logical flow, and audience-oriented content. As an outcome of the session, students gained practical knowledge on creating visually appealing and impactful PowerPoint presentations. They learned important guidelines to be followed while preparing slides, such as appropriate use of text, font styles, colors, images, and design consistency, along with tips for confident and effective delivery. The programme enhanced students’ digital competency, creativity, and communication skills, empowering them to deliver professional and persuasive presentations in academic and career-related contexts.
