An awareness session on project work was successfully conducted on 11th July 2025 at the Seminar Hall by the Department of Management Studies. The session aimed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the various stages involved in project work, including topic identification, formulation of objectives, research design, data collection methods, analysis, and report writing. A total of 32 students participated in the session, which served as a platform to clarify their doubts and enhance their knowledge of research-based academic work. The session was led by Mrs. Ashitha Ashok C, Assistant Professor, who effectively engaged the students through her detailed explanations and real-life examples, making the session both interactive and insightful. She emphasized the importance of proper planning, time management, and adherence to ethical research practices. The event was well-organized under the coordination of Miss Ashly Jose, Assistant Professor, who ensured the smooth conduct of the session. The participants actively interacted with the resource person, making the session lively and thought-provoking. Several questions regarding topic selection, data sources, and plagiarism were raised and addressed with clarity. Feedback from the students indicated that the session boosted their confidence and provided a clear roadmap for approaching their project work. The department plans to conduct similar sessions in the future to provide continuous academic support and guidance to students.
