Department of Languages in association with Human rights and equal opportunities cell conducted a talk on ‘The Evolving concept of Trans Identity’ on 17th February 2025 in college Seminar Hall at 11am. Parvathy C R the student of II year Psychology welcomed the gathering. It was followed by the Keynote speech by the Chief guest, famous transgender poet and member of Kerala Sahithya Academy Smt. Vijayarajamallika. She spoke about the Life of Transgenders, their history and evolving concept of their identity. Followed by the speech students got a chance to interact with the chief guest. The program concluded with the vote of thanks delivered by Janson Paul James, Student of PG Dept. Of Social Work.
