“On July 10, 2024, the Postgraduate Department of Psychology organized a Zumba training session exclusively for first-year students, courtesy of the seniors. This high-energy fitness program combines cardio exercise with lively Latin-inspired dance moves, making it a popular group fitness class worldwide.

The Zumba session aimed to provide students with a fun and engaging way to stay physically active, improve their fitness, and enjoy music and dance. The workout typically encompasses:

– Aerobic exercise to boost cardiovascular health

– Dance moves to enhance coordination and rhythm

– Strength training to tone muscles

– Flexibility exercises to improve flexibility and balance

By organizing this event, the seniors aimed to promote a healthy and active lifestyle among their peers.  The event concluded with felicitations from teachers and seniors.
