National Service Scheme Unit No 113 of Nirmala Arts and Science College, Mulanthuruthy has organized an orientation programme for 1st year UG Students on 10th July 2024, Wednesday at 1:00 PM at seminar hall. The main agenda for the programme was to familiarize NSS Unit to the students. The programme was started with NSS Geetham. The welcome speech was delivered by Ms. Reshma R Nair, NSS Programme Officer. The programme was graced with the presence of Principal Dr. C A Geetha and the Dean of the institution Prof. Daisy N O. The orientation session was handled by Mr. Deepu G, HOD Department of English who had a great experience as NSS Programme Officer. He discussed about NSS, its objectives, importance and aims and also about various camps at State level, University level and National level. Later Ms. Reshma R Nair NSS Programme officer discussed about the grace mark system and also about various projects at university level. Sabarinath S Pavithran of 3 rd Year B Com and Nikitha Vinod of 3 rd year BCA shared their experiences at the residential camp. Before the end of the programme a short video of the programmes conducted during 2023-24 was showed to the students, and the enrollment form was issued. The programme was concluded with the vote of the thanks by Gopika Dileep, NSS Volunteer.
