The Post Graduate Department of Commerce, Nirmala Arts and Science College, Mulanthuruthy organised an orientation programme for the newly admitted four-year undergraduate students on 10 July 2024 from 10:00 Am – 11:00 AM. The session was addressed by Ms. Meenu H, Assistant Professor, PG department of Commerce. The major objective of the programme was to make the students aware of the Mahatma Gandhi University Under Graduate Programmes (honours) regulations, 2024 (honours) under the New Curriculum and Credit Framework, 2024. The session helped the students to understand undergraduate curriculum for the 2024-28 academic year. The major rules and regulations, different framework of undergraduate programme offered by the MG University, different combinations of subject baskets, academic bank of credit, mode of examination, changes in evaluation pattern, details regarding credit points and various opportunities in FYUGP were discussed in the session in detail. This orientation helped the students to get clear idea regarding the syllabus of various subject combinations in upcoming semesters. The session was very informative and insightful.
