The seven day Nss camp began on the 23rd of December at 5 pm with registration at St Mary’s Higher Secondary School Thalacode.On 24th the inaugural conference was conducted with the presence of the Chottanikara Grama Panchayth President,Ward member,Principal and chairperson.The camp was inaugurated by the Chottanikara Grama Panchayath president Shri M.R. Rajesh.On the same day group dynamics were conducted for the NSS volunteers by ex NSS volunteer secretary shri Jaymohan.On 25th of December Christmas celebration took place on the camp with various cultural activities and games including treasure hunt.A class for time management by Dr Santhosh T.R. and Naadanpaatu performance by Ex NSS volunteers were conducted on the same day.On 26th the volunteers cleaned the bus stop and road near the school.A session regarding personality development by Dr Civy V Pulayath was held on the same day.On 27th the Volunteers went to Vypin beach to clean the beach premises.Shri K.N Unnikrishnan,(MLA,Vypin)inaugurated the function.On afternoon the volunteers had a session regarding life skill development by life skill trainer Shri Ajish K.P. On 28th the volunteers cleaned the School premises and ground.On afternoon NSS program officer Shri Sinumon T.G. shared his memories being an NSS program officer.In addition various cultural activities,games,yoga and sports were conducted on each day of the camp. The NSS program officers,volunteer secretaries and camp secretary were present throughout the camp.On 29th the award for the best NSS campers,workers and performers were distributed.Mementos were given to the camp secretary and Volunteer secretaries.The camp ended with a closing ceremony.
