The PG department of psychology in association with counselling cell of Nirmala Arts & Science College, Mulanthuruthy organized a program “Wednesday chapter” on behalf of mental health awareness week on 11th October 2023.

The session was led by Dr. Justine Joseph, Assistant professor, St. Joseph’s college, Moolamattam, on the topic “Changing perspectives in the field of mental health” from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The session began with the formal welcome speech delivered by Ms. Mahima Grace John, NAPS (Psychology association) president and student of 2nd BSc Psychology.    Ms. Alana Anna Baby, Assistant professor of Psychology introduced the resource person.         Dr C.A. Geetha, Principal of the college, Prof. Daisy N.O, Dean of education, and Dr. Murali E, Vice principal were present. Dr. Justine Joseph impressed the gathering by the way he dealt with the topic dynamically. And the session really helped everyone to know about the changing perspectives in the field of mental health. The program was concluded by a vote of thanks proposed by Ms. Meghna Sunil, Second year MSc Psychology student.
