The inaugural ceremony of the department association, Meraki and PR Campaign, La Cultura was conducted on 31st January 2023. The programme was conducted at 11 am in the Conference hall.
The final year student of BA English, Kumari. Sona Antony welcomed the gathering. The college principal, Dr. Geetha C.A. shared the principal’s message and the Head of the Department, Mrs. Agnus Joy presented the annual report for the academic year 2021-22.
A video presentation by our students was held to introduce the theme of the PR Campaign, La Cultura. The chief guest, Eldho Paul Puthusseri, Deputy news editor of News 18 Kerala, officially inaugurated Meraki, our English association, and La Cultura, the PR Campaign by lighting the lamp. It was followed by a very interesting talk by Eldho sir, about the career opportunities in the media and journalism sector which made a lasting impression upon our students. As a token of love and gratitude our college principal handed over a memento to the chief guest. It was followed by the formal declaration of the office bearers of Meraki and also distributed the certificates of the winners in various events conducted during the academic year. The inaugural ceremony came to an end with the vote of thanks delivered by Vishnu Anilkumar of first BA.
