Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) is a flagship initiative of Kerala Startup Mission to promote innovation and entrepreneurship among the student and academic fraternity in the educational institutions in the State of Kerala and considered as an umbrella programme that would play an instrumental role in fostering innovation culture in Academic institutions.
The Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Centre of Nirmala Arts & Science college, Mulanthuruthy was established in the year 2023 with a focus on fostering innovation and entrepreneurship amongst our students and faculty.IEDC aims to recognise ideas and innovations from the study and faculty side and supporting them to make their ideas & dreams a reality.
Aims
With an aim to innovate and inculcate the entrepreneurship and startup culture among students Nirmala IEDC is actively working from 2023 onwards by attending and conducting workshops, expert talks, IEDC summits. Business ideas of students are supported by the team.
Objectives
- To inculcate entrepreneurial and startup culture and nurture the latent innovative ideas among students.
- To induct innovation and entrepreneurial spirit in the institution.
- To inculcate social virtues i.e. Trust worthiness, Integrity, Hard work, Discipline, Honesty etc. as constituents of entrepreneurship.
- To sensitize students on the real Economic and Industrial development scenario of the state.
- To organize work shop, seminars, webinars, skill enhancement programmes and Interactive session with successful entrepreneurs.
