The postgraduate department of psychology in association with the Sports , Health and yoga club organised a one day  awareness workshop on International Mind-Body Wellness Day 2024. The inaugural address was given by principal Dr. Geetha C A, Dean Daisy N O and vice principal Murali sir. Addressing the gathering was rendered by HOD, Mrs. Sona T M . The primary aim of the awareness workshop conducted on International Mind-Body Wellness Day was to promote holistic health and wellbeing by raising awareness about the interconnectedness of the mind and body. The workshop sought to educate participants on various practices and techniques that enhance mental, emotional, and physical wellness. Mrs. Sona, spoke on the different psychological aspects on mind-body wellness and Ms nalina biju took the technical yoga session in latter session. There were 40 participants for the session and all were enthusiastically involved in the session. The awareness workshop on International Mind-Body Wellness Day provided participants with valuable knowledge and tools to enhance their physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. By fostering a deeper understanding of the mind-body connection and offering practical guidance on holistic health practices, the workshop empowered individuals to take proactive steps towards leading healthier and more fulfilling lives. Along with the students all faculties of the psychology department also actively participated.
