The Department of Management Studies at Nirmala Arts & Science College celebrated National Handloom Day with an inspiring entrepreneurial talk titled “Aim the Moon.”. Mrs. Minisha George commenced the talk by sharing her personal entrepreneurial journey. She spoke about the challenges she faced as a new entrant in the textile industry and how she overcame them through innovation and perseverance. Her story served as an inspiring example for aspiring entrepreneurs. The talk concluded with an interactive session where students had the opportunity to ask questions, share their thoughts, and seek advice from the speaker. The entrepreneurial talk proved to be an enlightening and enriching experience for the management students. It not only provided them with practical insights into the world of entrepreneurship but also motivated them to cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset, embrace innovation, and develop the skills necessary for future business success. The event concluded with the Dean Prof. Daisy N O and Mrs. Minisha George jointly inaugurating the sale of textile crafts (Scrunchies & Fabric painted Hand kerchiefs) created by the students. It allowed attendees to appreciate the intricate artistry that goes into handcrafted textiles while supporting the budding entrepreneurs among the students.
