NSS Unit 113 participated in spreading awareness about pedestrian safety. The programme was coordinated by the Pedestrian Facilitation Council (TPFC). Every year on Gandhi Jayanthi Day TPFC organizes social events involving people from all walks of life for maintaining the cleanliness of footpaths. The programme was started with a prayer. They have organized a walk from Sree Poornathrayeesa parking ground to Vadakekotta Metro Station and the volunteers cleaned the foot path.
