The NSS 113 volunteers of Nirmala Arts and Science College is determined to keep the college and its surrounding as clean as possible by eliminating plastic waste. The college has installed waste disposal bins in the campus with the help of NSS volunteers and Mulanthuruthy Grama panchayath. This academic year also volunteers actively participated in the cleaning campaign from October 2 to October 4. They helped in the cleaning of Junior Basic School Eruvely (adopted school of NASC Mty) on October 3 as part of cleanliness week. The Headmaster of JBS Kanayanoor Mr. Mohanan PT, JBS PTA members, Nirmala college Principal DR. Geetha CA, NSS POs Deepu.G & Reshma R guided the students and also highlighted the significance of having a clean environment for a healthy generation.
