The BCA Department Association Day was a dynamic and engaging event that showcased the diverse talents and achievements of the department’s students. The day’s activities included several significant highlights:
The event commenced with the prayer and welcome speech by Head of the department Mr Eldho Peter. Unveiling of the department magazine, INSIGNIA 2 a compilation of articles, activities of 2022-2023 creative works by students and faculty. The magazine launch symbolized the scholarly endeavours of the department. A video presentation was held to introduce and showcase the newly established hardware museum. The video provided an insightful glimpse into the museum’s exhibits, highlighting the evolution of computing devices and technology. Invited guest Mr Abdul Jabbar, Assistant Professor, School of Computer Science, MG University conducted a technical session on THE FUTURE OF WORK AI AND MACHINE LEARNING IN WORK PLACE. The session covered cutting-edge topics, offering students valuable insights into latest technology AI. A token of appreciation in the form of a memento was presented to the invited guest speaker as a gesture of gratitude for sharing expertise and knowledge with the department. Students presented a colourful array of cultural performances, including traditional dances, musical performances, and western dance. These cultural programs added vibrancy to the event. At last, College dean, Prof Daisy N O inaugurate hardware museum. Faculty members, students, and guests gathered to witness the ribbon-cutting ceremony, marking the beginning of an enriching educational experience for future visitors.
