Department of Computer Application in association with Innovation and entrepreneurship Development centre of Nirmala College, Mulanthuruthy Organised a programme on the topic “Nurturing Entrepreneurship in academic Institutions “on 21^st January 2024,11:00 am at the Seminar Hall of the college. The keynote speaker was Mr. Jomin V George who is the CEO of Hitbytes Technologies. One of the key objectives of integrating entrepreneurship into academia is to equip students with the skills, knowledge, and mindset necessary to navigate an increasingly uncertain and competitive global economy. By providing experiential learning opportunities, fostering critical thinking, and instilling a sense of resilience, academic institutions empower students to become not only job seekers but also job creators and innovators. He helped students to get more insight into the grassroot level entrepreneurship and methodologies revolving them. The session was very engaging and enlightening for the 80 students who attended it.
