Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC)
Recognizing the importance of sustenance, assurance and enhancement of the quality of education, an institutional internal quality system called Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) was constituted in the college in 2019.The IQAC with the structure and processes as per the guidelines of UGC plays a great role in maintaining the momentum of quality consciousness in the college. The IQAC is actively involved in planning, guiding and monitoring quality assurance and quality enhancement activities of the college. As a facilitative and participative organ of the institution, the cell systematises the academic and nonacademic efforts and measures of the college. It also functions as a driving force for framing strategies to remove deficiencies and enhance quality of education in the institution.

Since its inception, the IQAC has been taking initiatives to equip the faculty to acquire the required knowledge and technology for student centric teaching and learning process. The cell initiates to organise inter and intra institutional workshops, seminars and webinars on quality related themes. The IQAC takes a leading role at the college level to organise co-curricular and extra-curricular activities and events which help to improve the all-round personality developments of the students. It collects feedback from students, parents and other stakeholders on quality related institutional processes and after analyzing the responses it facilitates the college to frame strategies to beat the deficiencies and enhance quality of education system in the institution. The IQAC disseminates information among management, teachers and students on the various quality parameters of higher education. It documents the various programmes or activities of the college, leading to quality improvement. It acts as a nodal agency of the college for the adoption of good practices such as organic farming, student entrepreneurship, environmental awareness, gender equality etc. It is in the process of developing and maintaining the institutional documents on the quality parameters/assessment criteria developed by NAAC for the purpose of first cycle NAAC accreditation of the college.
